The Waiting Room
A memoir of loss, longing and holding on to God when the answer is no. For anyone sitting in a season that feels like it will never end.
I’m Ivy Sabah, an author and speaker from Accra. I write about keeping faith while you wait, finding purpose in work you never chose, and becoming the woman you already are.
Honest, faith-filled writing for women and men walking through loss, work and identity.
A memoir of loss, longing and holding on to God when the answer is no. For anyone sitting in a season that feels like it will never end.
For everyone doing faithful work in a job they didn’t choose. Lessons from nearly two decades of service, and from Daniel, the Bible’s great administrator.
How who you are shapes the way you show up: your style, your confidence and your influence, through every season of a woman’s life.
Warm, personal and practical talks for conferences, churches, campuses and teams. Now accepting bookings.
Drawn from The Waiting Room, this talk walks with audiences through disappointment and delay, and shows how to hold on to hope, purpose and God while the story is still being written.
Finding meaning, excellence and growth in a career you never planned, for staff, young professionals and leaders.
Helping women show up as who they truly are, in how they dress, lead and carry themselves.
Together with her husband Emmanuel, Ivy speaks to couples about building a marriage with purpose at its centre.
Keynotes, workshops, panel conversations and retreats, in person in Ghana or online.
Women’s conferences, churches, universities and schools, and corporate or HR teams.
“Faith is not a shield. It is a companion.”From The Waiting Room
